K9-INDIGO is dedicated to empowering our black and brown minority based communities by providing accessible and affordable opportunities in life skills, job training, and skill trades. Our mission is to break barriers and create pathways to success, not just in the pet industry but in all aspects of life. Through our workshops and mentorship programs, we aim to equip the next generation with the essential tools and knowledge they need to thrive in today's society as confident, capable, and successful individuals.

At K9-INDIGO, we envision a future where every member of minority-based communities has the opportunity to excel and contribute meaningfully to society. By offering no-cost or low-cost workshops in financial literacy, pet care, and various skilled trades, we aim to foster a culture of empowerment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. Our goal is to develop not just skilled dog trainers and groomers, but well-rounded, successful members of society who will lead and inspire future generations.

Our Initiatives

  • Youth Financial Literacy

    We provide workshops and resources that teach children the fundamentals of financial management. From opening a bank account to understanding savings, spending, and investment, we aim to instill smart financial habits early on.

  • Youth Character Development

    Our programs focus on building strong character traits in young individuals. Through mentorship and engaging activities, we help youth develop integrity, responsibility, and perseverance.

  • Youth Entrepreneurship

    We encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in our community's youth. Our workshops cover essential skills such as idea generation, business planning, and execution, helping young minds turn their passions into viable business ventures.

  • Life Skills in Skilled Trades

    We offer training in various skilled trades, providing practical knowledge and hands-on experience. This initiative helps prepare the youth for future employment opportunities and
    promotes self-sufficiency.

Community First

At K9-INDIGO® Holistic Dog Training LLC, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. Our mission extends beyond training dogs; we are dedicated to fostering growth and development in our local communities, especially among the youth. We aim to provide valuable life skills and opportunities that empower individuals to thrive.
