Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working with all breeds of canines.
• Knowledgeable about canine behavior, temperament, and body language.
• Customer service, pet retail, and point-of-sale experience.
• Owns a smartphone.
• Resides in or close to Los Angeles.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and communication).
• Available to work full-time, including weekends and weekday evenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Passion for continuous learning.

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:

• Understanding of pack leadership.
• Ability to recognize and identify dog breeds and characteristics.
• Capable of hosting private training sessions, group classes, and day-camp.
• Familiarity with correct terminology related to canine training and behavior.
• Knowledge of various types of canine training equipment and their usage.
• Understanding of kennel maintenance and canine health & hygiene protocols.

Pluses:

• Bilingual (Spanish and Vietnamese).
• Experience with Quickbooks and POS systems.
• Canine-related certifications.
• Extensive experience in AKC Obedience, Canine Sport, Advanced behavior issues, and Aggression problem-solving.
